Look at those clouds!
Nahum 1:3 "The Lord hath his way in thw whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet."
God is everywhere present! He is everywhere active and at work in the world. He's very much alive and is aware of all that transpires upon the planet and in the lives of its people.
Clouds come and go. God remains constant. Winds blow, storms subside, but God is ever by our side. Have you ever taken notice that clouds come and go in a constant forming and dissolution? I am sure you have. One hour they may appear to fill the whole inverted bowl of the sky. Just as suddenly, the wind may shift direction and the dense cover is torn to fragments that spill out of the sky and vanish into nothing but clear air.
The pitch-dark clouds - do they scare you? The big puffy gray and black clouds that hang low threatening rain and storms on the way can cause us to quickly seek shelter. The storm clouds and wild winds sweep about us, the rain comes, and then through the rain we see the rainbow -- the gorgeous rainbow with its splendid defined colors. It is an awesome picture to stop and watch the grandeur of the Almighty display such a scene across the sky, reminding us of His promise.
Clouds in the sky are moments of majesty in which our Father displays His love and might. They are scenes of spiritual exaltation in which His glorious Spirit lifts us to wondrous heights of pure joy in His presence.
The beauty of the sky when it fills up as fas as you can see shows the magnificence of the clouds causing you to stop and look up. Often I reflect the beauty of the clouds and take in the tiny glimpse, a fleeting foretaste of the marvelous splendor that awaits the children of God behind the clouds - what joy Christ sets before us!
"O my Father, You are nigh! Your glory fills the whole earth! All is well with my soul! In your presence there is joy forevermore."Keep looking up child of God - Jesus is coming in the clouds (Matt. 24:30) to take us home with Him to forever live with the Lord.
"Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him..." (Rev. 1:7)
Are you ready to meet Jesus?
